Overview

Seneris B.V. respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This page describes how we collect, process, and look after information about visitors to this website and people who contact us.

Analytics

We use nosework, our own analytics software, running on our own database. Nothing about your visit is sent to an analytics company.

It works without cookies. To tell one visitor from another over the course of a day, it takes your IP address and browser identifier, combines them with the name of this site and a random value that is thrown away and regenerated every night, and stores only the resulting hash. The IP address itself is never written down. Neither is your full browser identifier — it is reduced to broad categories like “Chrome” and “macOS” first. Because the random value changes daily, we cannot tell that a visitor today is the same person who visited yesterday.

Alongside that we record the page you viewed, the site that linked you here, and your approximate location at city level, which our host derives from your IP address before the request reaches us.

We also record errors that occur in your browser while using this site — the error message, the technical trace, the page it happened on, and your browser and operating system. This is so we can find and fix things that are broken. We do not record what you type or what you click.

The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in understanding and maintaining our own website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, this does not require a consent banner under the ePrivacy Directive.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. We use a single piece of local storage to remember whether you’ve dismissed the privacy notice at the bottom of the page. That value never leaves your browser.

Contact

When you email us at hallo@seneris.nl, we use your address only to reply to your message. We don’t share, sell, or pass it to anyone else.

Third-party services

This site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps basic server logs for operational purposes and supplies the city-level location described above. The analytics data itself is stored in a database we run, hosted by Prisma. Both act as processors on our behalf and hold no rights over the data.
